Grief Counselling

The death of someone close is one of life’s most stressful events.  It takes time to heal and each of us responds differently.

My name is Dena Moitoso and I have been a bereavement counsellor with People Needing People since 1997. My professional knowledge and personal experience with loss are the elements which I bring to those who are facing  the many challenges of grief and change after the death of their loved one.

For over 25 years, People Needing People has served Waterloo Region as the leading expert in bereavement counselling.  It is our commitment to ensure that individuals and families have the expertise available to them in order to cope with one of life’s toughest transitions.

 In the comfortable environment of the Kuntz House I am available to meet with individuals and families. We are proud of our resource library which houses a large number of books, videos and brochures. Our Annual ‘Coping with the Holidays’ service and the opportunity to present workshops to various groups and agencies, are just a sampling of how we extend ourselves to our community.

I am privileged to walk beside those who are hurting and to witness the inner strength that each individual possesses.  People Needing People is one of the jewels of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home which we share with our caring community in Waterloo Region.
