We only spent a little time with you and David but it was such an enjoyable evening. I am sorry we were not able to get to know David better. Condolence: Dave was one of the most influential teachers I have ever had. I had the good fortune of continuing to run into him locally over the last 20 years at accounting events and various races. He always had the warmest greeting and talking with him always made me feel special. So sorry for your loss, he will be missed.

Condolence: I was proud for having David as a professor and mentor during my time in Canada. He was always helpful and everytime ready to share a smile for all of us MBET guys. Although, I will not be able attend any of the ceremonies in person, I will be there in my thoughts. I wish for all who knew him that they will remember him for the open-minded and even more open-hearted person he was.

I knew Professor Carter for a mere five weeks, but he impacted my life. He was always so warm and welcoming, willing to help out and a wonderful professor. He made sure that each student in his class was welcomed and felt special - he even nicknamed me 'Lefty' - he loved to tell me about left-handed people (like me) who he thought were special. His class was one that I would never miss - I changed appointments so that I would be there, because, as I told my mother, Professor Carter's one rule for our class was that we should all be on time.
